14 Band Saw Cool Blocks by OLSON SAW

Cool blocks blade guides, suitable for most 14" Band saws such as Sears Craftsman 14", Jet, Grizzly, and Ridgid, are crafted from a state-of-the-art, non-metallic composite material known as "graphite impregnated phenolic laminate.” This material contains three synthetic dry lubricants that effectively lubricate the blade without leaving it oily. The traditional metal guide blocks, which create metal to metal contact, generate heat and friction, leading to premature blade wear and breakage.

It is important to note that the actual dimensions of the cool block may be slightly smaller than its nominal dimension by up to 0.05 inches. For instance, a Cool Block labeled as ½” may measure 0.45”. This allowance accounts for potential expansion due to humidity.
